Distance Education for Development

The Center for Distance Education offers on-line:

1. a graduate certificate program Distance Education in Developing Countries
as an integral part of the Master of Distance Education jointly offered by
the University of Maryland University College and Carl von
Ossietzky University of Oldenburg.

2. a joint graduate certificate program Distance Education for
Development with UBC's Distance Education & Technology
(DE&T). This program aims at audiences in developing countries. The
program and its courses are offered on demand.

3. a virtual seminar for professional development in distance
education in collaboration with Worldbank's GDLN

Furthermore the Center for Distance Education provides
publications, workshops, and consultancy in distance education for
development.
