URBAN AND REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT
& TOWN PLANNING (URPS)
Planning is underway for a set of 6 Basic Modules (A-E).
A student participating successfully in all modules will achieve credit
points equivalent to a 2-semester regular study program of a German University
in the field of town planning / infrastructure planning, or regional planning.
All courses will be offered at any time for any group or institution.
Course A is also available through the World Bank learning network (see
www.gdln.org). Application
for the 2nd and revised version of "Introduction to Basics of Urban
Development and Town Planning (BUTTOP)" is possible until January
20, 2004. For further info and online application, please click here.
The set of Basic Modules will be used for a further development
of tailor made courses (such as F-K) in related fields. These courses
need an agreement with DESDe as the coordinating agency for the course
development and learning management.
Both, the course development of URPS and the provision
of learning support is carried out in conjunction with 4 institutions:
